My Approach

Our kids often fluctuate between over-arousal and under-arousal. how can we help them stay in their just right level of functioning?

Andrea uses a variety of approaches her favourites are:

We need to know which state we are in, and then which state our child is in to support them to be the parent they need in that moment.
Composure is what we strive for in conscious parenting.
When stressed we need to identify what could be draining their batteries or causing more stress. Let's stop the leak so we can work on repair.
Give your children the gift you never had! Teach them how to move through their emotions not let their emotions control them!
